Rutile coated electrodes are designed for welding corrosion-resistant austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steels stabilized with niobium of AISI 316Nb, AISI 316, AISI 318 types, etc., for parts working under temperature up to 400 C. Electrodes are used for welding of tanks, pipes and equipment for chemical, textile, paper industries, in environments where acidic, alkaline and saline solutions are found, as well as for structures that operate in seawater.
