DHW 2205 - duplex stainless steel is used in wells with an average concentration of CO2 up to 35%, without H2S content and with a chloride content up to 30%, where the partial pressure of H2S is at most 3%. Wire DHW 2205 is characterized by excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, is also resistant to corrosion caused by chlorides, shows high resistance to general corrosion.
Wire DHW 2205 is supplied seamless, without welded joints, on metal coils in protective packaging for safe transportation.
The wire is supplied in length, the maximum winding on the drum is 30’000 feet or 9’145 meters.

Wire DHW 2205 is tested and certified for the minimal nominal rate of tensile strength. Admissible resistance is in limits of 80-90% of tensile strength. It means, that wire DHW 2205 can resist to big loadings without residual deformation of a wire.
