Еlectrical engineering, electronics and instrumentation

Alloys are an indispensable material in the manufacture of particularly sensitive and high-precision instruments, various kinds of sensors and energy converters.

For example, for the manufacture of cores of transformers and relay parts there is a nickel alloy. Individual parts of electric motors are made of cobalt alloys.

A nickel alloy with chrome-nichrome, characterized by high resistance, is used for the manufacture of heating elements for furnaces and household electrical appliances.

Of alloys of copper in the electrical industry and instrument making, brass and bronze are the most widely used.

Brass is indispensable in the manufacture of appliances, the parts of which are shut-off valves. Such devices are used in gas and water supply networks.

Bronze goes to the manufacture of springs and spring contacts.
